The HEM Trimmer is designed and built to complement your HEM paving equipment in applications where mechanical finish trimming is desired or required, common in residential street, airport and heavy highway construction. The HEM Trimmer has a 12’6” wide (3.84m) trimmer head, which, with optional equipment, can be built up to 18’6” (5.63m) for wider trimming widths if your project requires. The HEM Trimmer includes a 32” diameter (81cm) carbide tip cutter with a dual belt delivery system for fast unloading and precise placement of excess material. Other standard features of the HEM Trimmer are dual grade and steering sensors for precise control of finished surfaces, a grade ski and a lighting package for night operation. HEM is the only company in the world that provides a full line of concrete paving equipment for all aspects of the paving job; grade trimmers, placers, placer-spreaders, texturing to joint sawing. Standard HEM Placers include the HT4502.
